V. Raman Kumar

Raman is a successful tech entrepreneur and private equity investor. He is the founder & former Chairman/CEO of NASDAQ listed M*Modal Inc, a leading voice recognition, healthcare document technology company that he took from a start-up to until it was sold to One Equity Partners for over a billion dollars in 2012. Since then, he has actively invested in a number of ventures across India, Middle East and USA. He is also a limited partner in three large international private equity funds. He recently joined the board of THub- one of India’s most successful tech incubator and accelerator. Raman was Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2007 award winner for Maryland, USA, and was also honoured with Maryland International Leadership Award by World Trade Centre Institute, Baltimore in the same year. Raman is currently the chairman and managing director of Aeries Technology Group and CASHe is his latest venture.

Mathew Cyriac

Mathew Cyriac most recently was the co-head of the private equity business at Blackstone Group, the world’s biggest private equity and alternate asset management firm. Under Mathew, Blackstone scored one of its best exits in a decade when it sold a controlling stake in cash management company CMS Info System to Barings Asia in 2015. Before joining Blackstone in 2006, he served as the Head of Corporate Development and Strategy at iGATE Global Solutions. Mr. Cyriac also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Quintant Services, where he led financing and other strategic transactions and its eventual sale to iGATE. He was a Vice President in the Investment Banking Group at CSFB, for two years, where he led several equity and debt offerings, and merger and acquisition transactions. Mr. Cyriac also worked in the Private Equity Group at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette for over four years. He worked in the Investment Banking Division at Bank of America and in the Engineering Division of Tata Motors.

Deepak Saluja

Deepak is a banking and financial services veteran with over 25 years of entrepreneurial and industry experience in senior leadership positions across Standard Chartered, Citigroup, JP Morgan and Credit Suisse.
He has had an exemplary track record in successfully implementing strategic business initiatives; and delivering bespoke corporate, structured credit, investment-banking, M&A and private banking solutions to large local, multinational and regional conglomerates, family offices and private clients across Asia Pacific, UK, Europe and the Middle Eastern Markets.
Deepak co-founded TSLC, an emerging-markets focused, AI / ML driven financial wellness platform, with the vision to help democratize banking & credit and address the deep-rooted social problem of lack of access to affordable, inclusive credit.
As a seasoned banker turned social entrepreneur, Deepak is an active member of the global FinTech community both as a thought leader and also a mentor.
Deepak is a rank-holding MBA (finance) and is currently pursuing his OPM degree at Harvard Business School.

Dr. Pulak Ghosh

Dr. Pulak Ghosh is Professor of Quantitative Methods at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). Prior to Joining IIMB, he was a Professor at the Georgia State University and Emory University, Atlanta, USA. He was also senior associate Director for Novartis Pharmaceuticals, USA. He has a PhD, MSc., BSc in Statistics. He was named as the “top 10 most Influential Analytics Leader” in 2015 and was the only academician in the list. He was recently rated as one among the “5 most influential Indian data scientists “by Tec radar. His rise from Assistant to Full Professor in mere 8 years is widely considered in the top 5 fastest in the history of Statistics, Analytics and Marketing globally. Dr. Pulak Ghosh is currently serving in the Advisory group of Big data at the United Nations (UN) Global Pulse, a big data initiative by UN and the knowledge commission of UNESCO-MGEIP. He is also an academic fellow at the Center for Advanced Financial Research and Learning promoted by Reserve Bank of India. He is also a senior fellow at Niti Aayog – Data Analytics Cell. He is advising several companies on analytics and big data. Based on his outstanding and innovative contribution to Statistical application, the International Indian Statistical Association awarded him with the Young Scientist Award” in 2011.

P. A. SUDHIR

Sudhir is a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years’ experience in finance. He was the global controller of CBaySystems (M*Modal) from January 2007 until March 2011. Prior to that he was a senior partner at Chandabhoy & Jassoobhoy, a reputed accounting firm where he specialized in audit, M&A advisory, corporate structuring for large clients in banking, finance, mutual funds, capital markets, securities exchanges, manufacturing, technology, BPO / KPO sectors. He is currently CEO of Aeries Technology Group.

Joginder Rana,

Joginder Rana, a veteran banker, joins as the Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of CASHe. Mr.Rana brings in over three decades of global and domestic experience in the banking & ITES industry essentially covering wholesale, retail, rural & FI banking. He has also held senior management positions in leading banks such as RBL Bank, and Citigroup in which he brought transformational changes to reshape their business strategy, technology architecture, processes and risk management. At Bank of Baroda Global Shared Services, Rana successfully created a state-of-the-art Global Shared Services Centre that helped in integrating and consolidating all the acquired banks to deliver an enhanced customer experience through digitized processes.

KETAN PATEL

Ketan Patel is the Executive Director and CEO of Aeries Financial Technologies and the Managing Director of Bhanix Finance and Investment Ltd., the NBFC arm of the company. As the Executive Director & CEO of CASHe, Ketan will have the full responsibility for leading the company through a strategic transformation by driving innovation and accelerate its operational excellence that delivers best-in-class customer service and making CASHe India’s largest digital lending company for the salaried millennials. Ketan is a seasoned leader with a proven track record of bringing in operational excellence, accelerating innovation and achieving revenue and profitability in business.

Prior to Joining CASHe, Ketan served Kotak Mahindra Bank for over 18 years where he had an illustrious career heading some of its key portfolios ranging from private banking and most recently, headed it’s Composite Business Solutions and E-commerce vertical. In his role as the Head of E-commerce at Kotak Mahindra Bank, Ketan oversaw setting up a dedicated vertical for the fast-growing E-Commerce business out of the bank’s Corporate Banking Vertical. Throughout his successful career at Kotak Mahindra Bank, Ketan led key business units including Kotak Securities, Mortgages, Kotak Wealth Management and headed its division focusing on NRI business. From 2010 until 2015, he helped setting up the Private Banking Business for the Kotak Group in the UK.

Nina B.Shapiro

Nina Shapiro has had over 30 years of broad global experience in international and project finance, and business development. She held senior leadership and operating positions at the World Bank and its private sector arm, the International Finance Corporation, including Director of the Project Finance and Guarantee Department, and VP Finance and Treasurer of the IFC. Nina has worked extensively with senior government and banking officials to develop major infrastructure projects and to open domestic capital markets such as China, Brazil and the UAE. In 2010, Ms. Shapiro received the Euroweek Lifetime Achievement Award for contributions to the Capital Markets. Having retired from the World Bank in 2011, she is taking on a full-time role as a corporate and advisory board member.

Dr. Rakesh MOHAN

Dr. Rakesh Mohan, holds a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College, University of London, a B.A. from Yale University and a Ph. D in Economics from Princeton, had earlier held the position of Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India September 9, 2002 to October 31, 2004 and July 2, 2005 to June 10, 2009. During the period 31 October 2004 to 2nd July, 2005 he was Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. He has held several positions in Government of India and was Chief Economic Advisor, Ministry of Finance, Government of India in 2001-02. Rakesh Mohan was Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund, Washington, D.C., USA representing India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Bhutan since 1st November, 2012 until recently.

Dr. Rakesh Mohan has researched extensively in the areas of economic reforms and liberalisation, industrial economics, urban economics, infrastructure studies, economic regulation, monetary policy and the financial sector. He is the author of three books on urban economics and urban development, co-author of one and editor of another on Indian economic policy reforms, and author of two books on monetary policy and central banking and of numerous articles.

Santanu Mukherjee

Mr. Santanu Mukherjee(“Mr. Sanatanu”), is the former Managing Director of State Bank of Hyderabad, an associate bank of country’s largest lender State Bank of India. He retired in the month of December, 2016. From 2013 to mid of 2014 he was acting as Chief General Manager of State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur. He has also worked as a Chief Executive Officer of State Bank of India, Paris from 2004 to 2008. He joined as a probationary officer and carried out important domestic and overseas assignments in the SBI Group. He has vast experience in the field of banking and finance. He holds a B.Sc. degree from Prestigious Presidency College of Kolkata. He is a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers(1986 Batch).

P.S. Reddy

Mr. Reddy set up First Securities, an equity broking firm on the major exchanges which grew to be one of the largest retail brokerages in Bangalore in early 2000. Mr. Reddy also built an Investment Banking advisory firm focussed towards mid-sized and family owned Companies. Besides the advisory role, he has also been active as a venture investor in the technology space and as a late stage investor.

Mr. Reddy has a rich experience in the banking sector. During his stint in Citibank in the year 1987, he helped set up its Investment Banking for the southern and western regions. At Citibank, he was engaged in raising equity from the Domestic and Overseas markets for Indian Corporates and was involved in pioneering the issuance and creation of markets for Bonds by the Indian Public Sector corporates.

B.R Chennadi

Mr. Balakrishna Rao has more than 30 years of experience in Organization Restructuring, Cost Control, Financial Planning, Project Evaluation, Recruitment & Training, Labour Welfare, Performance Monitoring Systems, Production Management & Control.

Mr. Rao has been a recipient of a prestigious award from the Transport ministry for creating a new peak in fuel economy in 1983 which ultimately resulted in savings of several hundred crores for APSRTC in the following two decades. As Executive director Hyderabad & Karimnagar zones, overseeing 9 Telangana districts and Twin cities, maintained harmonious Industrial Relations, quality of service and customer focus and was responsible for more than 8,000 buses and 50,000 staff.

Under his able guidance, Hyderabad city region bagged the National award for fuel saving consecutively for 2003 and 2004. He was instrumental in designing Metro liner buses in Hyderabad city and the popular Veera buses during the Afro-Asian Games, 2001. He successfully managed 40 crore Wind Energy Project at Ramagiri and made a turnaround.

After an illustrious career with APSRTC, he joined CBay Infotech Ventures Pvt. Ltd. in 2007 bringing with him his vast experience and has contributed immensely towards the progress of the SEZ project at Kokapet.

He is also the Chairman of Hyderabad Chapter of Quality Circle Forum of India, propagating quality concepts in industries across AP as a part of the larger quality movement across India.

Prakash Lal Kapur

Mr. Prakash Lal Kapur is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and working as a Partner in J.P., KAPUR & UBERAI, Chartered Accountants Firm since 1974. He has more than 45 years’ experience in the field of statutory audit, internal audit, banking and corporate secretarial matters. J.P., Kapur & Uberai comprises eight partners three of whom have over 25 years of post-qualified experience each and brings together over a dozen qualified staff together with almost 30 assistants.

P.S Jayakumar

Mr. Jayakumar brings with him knowledge in the banking and financial sector with 38 years of work experience. In 2015, he was selected by the government of India to serve as the Managing Director and CEO of Bank of Baroda. While at Bank of Baroda, he successfully completed a three-way amalgamation between Bank of Baroda, Vijaya, and Dena Bank to create the third-largest lender and second-largest public-sector bank in the country. In 2018, Mr. Jayakumar was awarded the ‘Banker of the Year’ by Financial Express. He also held key positions at Citibank across their India and Singapore offices, with his last assignment being the country head for the consumer banking group. After his stint at Citibank, he started his entrepreneurial journey in 2008 co-founding Value Budget Housing Company and Home First Finance. Both the ventures have contributed to the efforts in building demand and supply for low-cost and affordable housing.

Naresh Karia

Mr. Naresh Karia brings over 21 years of CXO-level industry experience and another 4 years of experience as an independent investor and business owner. He brings in extensive experience in banking, NBFC, MFI, Asset-based finance, broking and primary dealership. Mr. Naresh was the CFO at RBL Bank for over 8 years from 2010 to early 2018, where he played a crucial role in transforming the bank from a small, regional, entity into a mainstream, mid-sized listed bank.

Prior to RBL, Mr. Naresh served Citicorp India for over a decade where he served at various senior-level positions including it’s Indian subsidiaries. Prior to Citicorp, he worked with Corn Products Co, a Unilever-acquired company where he oversaw the company’s finance and corporate account function.

Mr. Naresh is a rank-holder Chartered Accountant as well as a Company Secretary and a Cost Accountant.
